Yoga Classes at Hoylake Community Centre CH47 3AG
Justine's personal teaching style is based on the principals of the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for yoga in England of which she is a qualified teacher and member. She is also influenced by the Iyengar approach due to her personal practice with that school and the flowing sequences of Ashtanga. Her aim is to strike a balance between informed alignment for safety and joint longevity combined with dynamic breath-synchronised sequences for fitness.
Beginners classes concentrate on developing 'ahimsa' or a 'non-harming' attitude towards your body and mind through proper alignment and breath awareness during asanas (physical postures).
Improvers classes extend on this knowledge and include asana (physical stretches and postures), pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), dhyrana (concentration techniques for mental agility), relaxation and some basic meditation. ![]()
